Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge is quite a unique property as it is situated where Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia converge. Located in a private National Parks concession, they have a 5000 acre private concession with 14 kilometres of private Zambezi river frontage that borders the Chobe Forest Reserve, making wildlife sightings and birding extremely good.
Accommodation consists of nine individual stone and thatched cottages with en-suite facilities. Each cottage is positioned along the Zambezi River with verandahs looking out at the wonderful view. There are double and twin cottages as well as one family unit that can sleep a family of four. Imbabala main lodge is a charming thatched structure, consisting of a lounge, dining room and bar area and offering fantastic views of both the river and a nearby waterhole that attracts game throughout the year. There is also a swimming pool for cooling off in and relaxing around during the day.
Activities available at Imbabala include guided game drives in the Imbabala Private Concession in the morning, afternoon and evening. Exploring the Zambezi River and bird watching by boat, walking safaris, fishing excursions and longer stays can enjoy day trips to Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park.
